Tuesday Night at Nell's

Nell was still a bit distracted and a little worried that she hadn't heard anything from Gladio, but again, missing a gym time was not something she needed to call and check on - though she wanted to. Undoubtedly he'd stroll in tonight with some fun drink to try and a story about his day and she'd feel foolish about ever being concerned at all.

In the meantime she had her usual food stuffs to set out along with some raspberry hand tarts that she'd made while she was not worrying.

"Have you talked to Detective Watts about it?" Lana asked. "Perhaps he and his troopers can look into it."

"I did," Nell said. "He knows they seem to be missing. I'm sure he'll look into it. And I'll be out looking as well."

Lana nodded. "I don't know either of them well enough to pick them out, but I'll meditate later, see if I can pick up on anything unusual around." She nodded decisively. "We will find them."

NEll nodded, but looked solemn. "Ignis and I are kind of afraid they might have been taken back home. As suddenly as they were taken from there and brought here."

And Lana couldn't entirely discount that, but still. "If so, it would make more sense for Ignis to have been taken, too. If he doesn't know what's going on, there's a good chance it's not that."

Unless of course Ignis disappeared, too. Lana would be keeping an eye on him just in case.

"I just... Iggy was the last to be pulled here, so..." She couldn't be selfish and hope Gladio was here just for her, much as his loss would wreck her. If he was home safe with his sister and the life he missed so much, she'd find a way to be happy for him. "For Liz and Noctra to lose Prompto... it would be unthinkable after all she's been through. I hope they're here and we'll find them, but I'm a little scared."

"I don't blame you," Lana said. "But one way or the other, we'll figure out what's going on. And if they have been pulled back, we'll do everything we can to get those portals opened permanently again."

[mylandmyrules]

"Only took nine years for mine," Nell said with a half smile. "I'd just like to know. The not knowing is horrible."

Lana nodded. "I'll see if I can find out anything."

"Thank you," Nell said. "I'm going to keep searching as well."
