Monday Night at Nell's

Leaning into the plates of latkes that kept appearing, Nell had prepared various toppings and sides to go with them, including applesauce, a pomegranate and honey topping, and a cilantro mint chutney. She also had a curried butternut squash and apple soup simmering on the stove as well as a variety of pastries for sweets after dinner.

The kittens were mostly dozing, though they'd no doubt rouse themselves when company came in to get their petting and snuggling in.

"Good, then," Ignis said, with a nod, warm smile still in place. "I'm glad. You two deserve a little bit of time to just enjoy each other's company, especially out and about somewhere I know you would both enjoy. It's good to hear that it went so well."

"I told him that I trusted him to find a wonderful place and he certainly did," Nell said. "I couldn't have imagined somewhere more beautiful."

She smiled a little dreamily. "It was nice to be off somewhere just us."
