Gladio would disagree with that sentiment pretty strongly, but they'll probably get around to it eventually. For now, though, Nell was curled up into him and his arm dropped down to her shoulders to pull her in close and he was dropping a kiss on the top of her head and rubbing her shoulder.

It was when he'd realized that he'd just been sitting there thinking again that he said something, because he had decided he'd pretty much done enough of that today.

And there'd been enough complicated this whole weekend, too, so he decided he'd start with something good and simple, too.

"M'glad you got to meet Iris," he said. "Still kind of hard to believe you actually did."
