Monday Night at Nell's

Nell was rather tired after her day at work and then rushing home to get the orders from her own store ready to ship out in the morning. Which meant her food offerings were a little less involved than they might otherwise have been. Still, there was a stew and freshly baked biscuits as well as various nibbles and the usual offerings for dessert.

Once everything was all set out and ready to go, she settled herself in front of the gas fire with a book and a cup of tea. And, within seconds, she had two kittens snuggled in her lap as well.

Nell laughed. "Only if I get to snuggle on your lap too," she said.

She smiled over at him. "I don't mind either. It's fun to have others over, but I definitely enjoy my time just with you. Can't get enough of it actually."

"Yeah," said Gladio, fondly and with that incredible modesty of his, "can't blame you there."

On both the snuggling in his lap later and not being able to get enough of him, really.

"You gonna want ear scritches, too?" he asked, with a teasing lift of his eyebrow.

Nell considered that for a moment. "I think I'll pass on the ear scritches," she said, "though I do think that having someone run their hands through my hair might be quite nice."

You know, if he might be so inclined to give it a try later.

"That," Gladio said, "I can definitely manage. Although, you know..."

He gave his head a small shake, chin lifted, to put a little emphasis on his own longer locks.

"I might want that one to be reciprocal."

She smiled at him. "Oh definitely. I love getting my hands on your hair."

One day there would potentially be shampooing of hair which was just all sorts of sensual.
