Tuesday Night Baseball at Nell's

Nell had everything clean and ready to go by the time people were to arrive. She'd made a batch of vegan brownies since the Detective was planning to join them tonight and she wanted to make sure he could have something sweet as well should he choose.

She was bustling along as usual and marveling once again at the sheer amazement and wonder of not only having friends, but being able to have them at her house without fear of reprisal. It was a good feeling, even if there was a tinge of sadness over other things.

Nell also couldn't help but smile after hearing on radio that apparently one of the classes yesterday had been about baseball. Maybe they all should have attended!

'Fun' might not have been the word Gladio would have used for it whem it started to be less recreation and more necessity, but his head tilted a little as he looked at Nell and an idea struck him.

"You know," he said, "Prompto used to make all sorts of chocobo sims for the Danger Shop. There's one in the apartment building, too, I think; I wonder if he could whip something up for us..."

Holosuite dates could be making a real resurgence these days!

"Really?" Nell tilted her head. "You think he would?"

She laughed a little. "Me riding a big bird! Wouldn't that be funny!"

"Only funny 'cause you're not used to riding big birds," Gladio pointed out, but he was grinning and thinking that he was perfectly fine with Nell thinking it was funny if it meant just getting to hear more of her laugh. "But, yeah. I definitely think he would. He used to love that kind stuff. He'll hook us up, I'm sure. If..." Grin gone a little crooked for his own presumptuousness there, "you'd be interested, anyway."

"Oh, I would!" Nell assured him. "It sounds amazing! And I wouldn't have to worry about getting hurt falling off or anything because it's like the Danger Shop."
